At 8mm thick, the LAIER sits in the sweet spot between cushioning and stability — enough padding to protect knees, wrists and hips on hard floors, without so much give that standing balance poses feel unstable. The TPE construction gives a firm, slightly grippy top surface with a fine cross-hatch texture that bites into the floor and holds your hands and feet in place through held poses and flows. The mat rolls tightly and the included strap works both as a carry strap over the shoulder and as a yoga stretch strap for flexibility work.
