FROMANN Overbed Laptop Table | Height-Adjustable, Tilt Top, Wide Surface, C-Base for Bed & Sofa (Black)

FROMANN Height-Adjustable Overbed Laptop Table — Tilt Top, Wide Surface, C-Base (Black)

A premium height-adjustable overbed table built for anyone who works, studies or watches content from their bed or sofa — and wants a proper stable surface rather than a flimsy lap tray. The FROMANN’s wide tabletop easily fits a 15-inch laptop and a mouse side by side with room to spare; the pneumatic height-adjustment column lets you set the exact working height in seconds; and the tilt mechanism angles the surface for reading, writing or screen viewing without neck strain. The flat C-shaped base slides cleanly under bed frames, sofa bases and recliners so the surface positions directly over your lap. Ideal for home working, recovery and convalescence, hospital-style bedside use, and anyone with limited mobility who needs a stable surface at variable heights.

Key Features

• Pneumatic height adjustment — the gas-spring column adjusts height smoothly and quickly with a single lever or knob; lock at any height across the full adjustment range; no tools required after assembly; set the exact height for sitting up in bed, reclining on a sofa or working at chair height
• Wide tabletop — large surface accommodates a 15–17 inch laptop plus a mouse and notebook simultaneously; significantly wider than most overbed tables; allows a proper working setup rather than a cramped single-device surface
• Tilt top — the tabletop angle adjusts to tilt toward you; useful for reading documents, writing by hand, drawing tablets, or reducing glare on screens; locks securely at the chosen angle
• C-shaped flat base — the wide flat base slides under bed frames and sofa bases to position the table directly over your lap; no awkward repositioning needed; the low-profile base stays flat on the floor while the column rises beside the bed or sofa
• Stable at all heights — the weighted base and sturdy steel column remain stable even at full height extension; suitable for laptop use, drinks, books and light equipment without wobbling
• Black powder-coat steel frame — all-black matte finish on the steel frame with a matching black tabletop surface; clean modern aesthetic that suits home offices, living rooms and bedrooms
• Mobile design — the table moves easily between rooms; position beside a bed, sofa, armchair or standing desk as needed

Who This Table Is For

• Home workers and students — create a proper laptop workspace from a bed or sofa without a fixed desk; height and tilt adjust to any position
• People recovering from illness or surgery — maintain access to a laptop, tablet, books and meals without getting up; the height-adjustable column works at any bed height
• Hospital and care home use — the overbed C-base design is the same format used in clinical settings; suitable for home hospital bed setups and convalescence
• Anyone with limited mobility — adjustable height means the table works from a wheelchair, recliner, adjustable bed or standard bed
• Content consumers — prop a tablet or laptop at the perfect angle for streaming, gaming or video calls from the sofa or bed without holding the device

Height & Tilt Adjustment Guide

• Check the product packaging for the full height adjustment range (typically 65–95cm for overbed tables of this type).
• For use sitting up in bed: set the height so the tabletop sits just above lap height.
• For use on a sofa: lower the height to match your seated position.
• Tilt the surface toward you for reading or writing; keep it flat for laptop and mouse use.

Assembly & Care Notes

• Self-assembly required; all fixings and instructions are included.
• Allow 15–30 minutes for assembly; no specialist tools required.
• Place on a hard, flat floor for best stability (not recommended on deep-pile carpet where the base may sink).
• Wipe the tabletop with a damp cloth; dry immediately; do not leave wet items on the surface.
• Check and tighten all fixings periodically.
